North Oregon Coast

We traveled down the southern Oregon Coast in the midst of deep summer. When Labor Day weekend rolled around, I was missing that week on the road and sea stacks for miles. Living in Lincoln City, the north coast is much closer to us. While we’ve visited a few places like Cannon Beach and Pacific City, we hadn’t truly explored everything (especially Astoria). September was still pretty summery during the day, not too cold at night, and the rains were still a ways off. This made adventuring quite easy and we lucked out with some sunshine and blue skies. We mostly kicked around Astoria, but made some photographic pit stops along the way back home down the 101.
